I bought this dress because they said it looked like the dress Kate wore when she announced her engagement to prince William, if you squint, you can kind of see it?
Definitely just hit “Publish” prematurely. Whoops!
We totally didn’t plan it. I promise. But when my coworker stood up from behind her desk and I saw her also sporting a pale purple shirt and long black skirt, I knew she had to take this DADIM photo with me! I’m especially thankful for her and our other teammate, among many other coworkers, who make our office jobs fun.
p.s. Check out her huge gold watch and dangly bracelet combo. Makes you want to try it, huh? Yup..she’s a trend-setter like that. A perk to working with stylish people: you get inspired by their awesome fashion ideas!
Look at these ladies! They came over last night wearing their dresses in support of DADIM. I’m so proud! What style, what grace … I think I’m hearing Madonna in my head….
I promise, this is my last dress from Greece. Look familiar? I purchased the item from Day 16 at the same shop in Thessaloniki. It’s one of my absolute favorites–it’s so comfortable and versatile. And it was cheap!
I have been without an oven since february and our new oven was finally installed today, so I found it only fitting to take my picture today in front of my new oven.
I went to the downtown farmer’s market with katie and this nice lady had her son take our picture (she didn’t know how to use my iPhone). I’m getting really good at asking strangers to take my pictures! I really love this dress, it’s really comfy, the only thing that would make it better was if it had pockets.
As I was uploading images to this post I realized when I took photos this weekend, I added a friend each day! A secret about my black dress from Friday: I stitched the bottom where the next button would be, to keep from too much leg showing when I sit down. An easy fix that keeps me from potentially awkward moments in one of my favorite dresses!
Kali posed with me at a cookout Saturday. We were so thankful for the clouds and breeze as cornhole and ladder golf provided some lively entertainment!
Beautiful ladies in gorgeous, colorful dresses! This was my first time wearing this item. I first spied it on a friend back at Easter and asked her if she wouldn’t mind if I went and purchased the exact same one. She was totally cool with it (she is pretty awesome like that, and is standing next to me in the photo below). I even received a handful of compliments upon wearing it, which is always a plus! The heels are from my brother and sister-in-law’s wedding, circa 2004.
We took advantage of a commercial break during America’s Got Talent to snap this photo. Thankful for these ladies, their laughter and desire to help others feel at home, wherever they are. While they’re not sporting dresses or skirts in this photo, they have admitted to following the blog. Thanks for your support, friends!
